Train A Fetch Agent (TAFA) STEM Project
AssureBiz Ltd has teamed up with Fetch.ai and Dicey tech to deliver a new project that will connect a team of students to real-world issues in the supply chain industry.
Fetch.ai aims to ease access to AI technologies and empower people and businesses to focus on what matters to them. The company provides a platform that makes it easy to create digital twins of themself, their business, and their assets, which can then connect to marketplaces and autonomously transact.
AssureBiz Ltd is a business development organization, meaning it helps businesses innovate and grow. They have an emphasis on Engineering Assurance and Risk Management, and the founder of AssureBiz Ltd has over 10 years of experience in delivering technology projects with engineering excellence.
Dicey tech are building an ecosystem to connect education with industry, where learning happens by making physical and virtual things that solve real world challenges. Our focus is on offering people access to the knowledge and infrastructure needed to explore curiosities, create and materialise ideas, and design and share learning experiences.
Train A Fetch Agent Project Scope
The purpose of this project is to connect a team of students with real world problems being faced by the supply chain industry. The students will develop a solution utilizing the Fetch.ai Twin Platform to represent refrigeration shipping containers being transported by ground and sea transportation. The students will integrate an edge device, such as an industrial gateway, with a low power temperature sensor and the Twin Platform to enable assets to record critical information about their cargo to the blockchain.

Deliverables
You will be integrating an edge device, such as an industrial gateway, to enable assets to record critical information about their cargo to the blockchain.
-
An edge device which is able to operate in -20 to 60°C temperatures and can communicate local temperature readings on a 15 minute interval for a period of 7 days.
-
Integration of the edge device with Fetch.ai’s Twin Platform to register the device to a twin, instantiate itself as a possession of that twin, and periodic logging of the temperature utilizing the Twin Blockchain module.
-
Installation instructions on how someone would install and operate the device.
-
Automated and manual test cases that can be used to repeatably validate that the system works as expected.
